1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using UTSOV ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

UTSOV is an event management platform that allows users to:

  • Create and manage events (conferences, workshops, concerts, festivals, etc.)
  • Handle event registrations and bookings
  • Manage seating arrangements and pricing tiers
  • Communicate with event attendees
  • Process payments and manage financial aspects of events

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
  • One person or entity may maintain only one account

Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Keep your contact information up to date
  • Do not share your account credentials with others

4. Event Organizer Responsibilities

  • Accurate Information: Provide truthful and accurate event details
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure your events comply with local laws and regulations
  • Attendee Safety: Take reasonable measures to ensure attendee safety
  • Financial Obligations: Handle refunds and cancellations according to your stated policies
  • Content Responsibility: You are responsible for all content associated with your events

5. Attendee Responsibilities

  • Accurate Booking Information: Provide correct details when booking events
  • Payment: Pay all fees associated with your bookings
  • Event Policies: Comply with event-specific terms and conditions
  • Respectful Behavior: Treat organizers and other attendees with respect

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use UTSOV for:

  • Illegal activities or events that violate local, state, or federal laws
  • Events promoting hate speech, discrimination, or violence
  • Fraudulent or deceptive practices
  • Spamming or sending unsolicited communications
  • Violating intellectual property rights
  • Disrupting or interfering with the Service
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems

7. Payment Terms

Platform Fees

  • UTSOV charges a service fee for processing bookings
  • Fees are clearly displayed before completing transactions
  • All fees are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified

Refunds and Cancellations

  • Refund policies are set by individual event organizers
  • UTSOV service fees are generally non-refundable
  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method
  • Processing time may vary depending on payment provider

8. Intellectual Property

  • UTSOV Content: All platform content, logos, and trademarks belong to UTSOV
  • User Content: You retain ownership of content you create, but grant us license to use it for platform operations
  • Respect Others' Rights: Do not use copyrighted material without permission
  • DMCA Compliance: We respond to valid copyright infringement notices

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Service Availability

  • Best Effort: We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
  • Maintenance: Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for service interruptions due to circumstances beyond our control

11. Limitation of Liability

Important Legal Notice:

UTSOV provides the platform "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:

  • Events that are cancelled, postponed, or modified by organizers
  • Disputes between organizers and attendees
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities

Our total liability is limited to the fees paid to UTSOV in the past 12 months.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold UTSOV harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your events or content
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of third-party rights

13. Account Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. You remain responsible for outstanding obligations.

By UTSOV

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Suspected fraudulent activity
  • Non-payment of fees
  • Prolonged inactivity

14. Dispute Resolution

  • Contact First: Please contact us for any disputes
  • Good Faith Resolution: We'll work in good faith to resolve issues
  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by Indian law
  • Jurisdiction: Disputes will be resolved in Indian courts

15. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time
  • Significant changes will be notified via email or platform notice
  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.
